Christ Central in Everything
Bunkhouse Beacon - Christ Central in Everything
Colossians 1:16-18 NKJV - For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
Revelation 11:15 NKJV - Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”
Jesus isn't merely a source of comfort or a historical figure; He is the reigning King right now.
Every authority in heaven and on earth belongs to Him. The kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ.
This truth must shape everything: our worship, parenting, work, relationships, and responses to trials.
When Christ is central, fear loses its grip because we remember who sits on the throne. The elders in heaven fall prostrate before Him continually.
Do our lives reflect that same reverence?
Keeping Christ central means more than Sunday acknowledgment; it's daily surrender, moment-by-moment obedience, and continual worship.
Today, examine one area where Christ has been pushed to the margins. Invite Him back to the center.
Standing firm with you,
Lars
