Repentance is Always Avaialble
Bunkhouse Beacon – Repentance is Always Available
1 John 1:5-10; NKJV This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
And… Psalm 103:8-14
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Repentance isn't complicated; it's confession, turning away from sin, and receiving God's forgiveness.
He removes our sins as far as the east is from the west and remembers them no more. The tragedy isn't that judgment comes, but that people refuse the grace freely offered.
God continues to warn because repentance remains possible.
You don't have to carry shame from past failures.
God sees you through the righteousness of Christ.
This is very important! The question isn't whether God will forgive; He has already done so through Jesus.
The question is: will you receive it and walk in freedom?
What shame or guilt are you carrying that God has already forgiven?
How can you walk in the freedom Christ offers today?
Grace and Peace
