The Sovereign Plan That Cannot Be Stopped
Bunkhouse Beacon - The Sovereign Plan That Cannot Be Stopped
Revelation 12:1-5 NKJV - Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. 2 Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. 3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. 4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. 5 She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. 6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
Isaiah 9:6 NKJV - For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
From the birth of the Messiah to His ascension, every detail unfolded exactly as God ordained.
satan could not stop Christ's birth, His obedience, His death, His resurrection, or His ascension.
This means nothing in your life falls outside that same sovereign hand. When circumstances feel chaotic or threatening, remember that God's plan is unified across all of history.
The enemy may press hard against you, but he is already a defeated foe. Rest today in the truth that the same God who orchestrated the coming of the Messiah is actively ordering your steps.
Reflection: Where in your life are you struggling to trust that God is still in control? Surrender that specific area to Him today in prayer.
Write down one situation that feels out of control. Beside it, write Revelation 11:15 from memory in your own words as a declaration of God's eternal reign over that situation.
Standing firm with you,
Lars
