Bunkhouse Beacon – The Urgency of Repentance

2 Corinthians 6:2 NKJV - For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Romans 2:4 NKJV - Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

The two witnesses wore sackcloth, garments of mourning and urgency. They grieved over the coming judgment while urgently calling people to repentance.

Listen to this or read this again, even in the tribulation, God extends mercy, giving people opportunities to turn to Him. His patience is remarkable; His love is relentless.

Today is the day of salvation. Not tomorrow, not when life settles down, now. God's kindness is meant to lead us to repentance, not to presumption.

Grace and friends of Grace, we cannot take His patience for granted. If you've been putting off surrendering fully to Christ, delay no longer. If you know someone who needs Jesus, speak up today.

The witnesses mourned because they understood what was coming for those who reject Christ.

Let that same urgency grip your heart. Share the gospel clearly. Live with intentionality.

Time is short, but God's grace is still available. Repent, believe, and help others find the Savior before it's too late.

Who needs to hear about Jesus from me today, and what's preventing me from sharing?

Grace and Peace

Lars

Acts 1:8 NKJV - But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
