The Creator who became the Sacrifice
Bunkhouse Beacon – The Creator who became the Sacrifice
John 1:1-3 NKJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
Read Colossians 1:15-20 NKJV
Here is the thing: the same hands that spoke galaxies into existence were nailed to wood.
Jesus didn't just observe creation; He was the agent of it. "All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made."
The profound mystery of the gospel is this: the Creator became the created.
The Judge became the judged.
He who fashioned the trees of Eden created the beams on which He would die.
Those two wooden beams weren't an accident or a tragedy; they were the planned intersection of divine justice and unfathomable love.
He gave everything when you had nothing to offer. That's grace. That's love bleeding through history.
How does knowing that Jesus created the cross He died on deepen your understanding of His sacrifice?
Grace and Peace
