You are valuable to God

Bunkhouse Beacon – You are valuable to God

Some mornings we feel like spiritual gold… and other mornings we feel more like the last cold pancake at a men’s breakfast, dry, forgotten, and slightly questionable.

But God never views His children that way. Your value to Him is not based on how polished, productive, or put-together you feel. It’s rooted in who He is and what He’s done.

Genesis 1:27 NKJV

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

You are not cosmic leftovers. You bear His likeness, designed with purpose, dignity, and eternal significance. That alone places worth on your life that no circumstance can erase.

1 Peter 1:18–19 NKJV

Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold… but with the precious blood of Christ.

Your value is not determined by what you can buy but by what was paid to buy you. The price tag on your life is the blood of the Son of God. That’s not clearance-rack love, that’s the highest possible price paid in full.

Isaiah 43:1 NKJV

Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.

He calls us his own. God doesn’t tolerate you; He treasures you. He calls you by name. He delights in you. He claims you as His.

Ephesians 2:10 NKJV

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.

He has a purpose for us. You are not some divine afterthought.

You are His workmanship crafted intentionally, explicitly placed, and gifted uniquely. Even on the days you feel like you’re stumbling instead of soaring, God is shaping you for His good purposes.

Question? Where have you been defining your value by performance, people, or past mistakes?

Grace and peace to you
