Revelation 7:1-4 NKJV describes a pause in judgment.
Four angels stand at the four corners of the earth, holding back the destructive winds. Another angel appears from the east carrying the seal of the living God, commanding the others not to harm the earth, sea, or trees until God’s servants are sealed on their foreheads.
The number of those sealed is revealed—144,000 from the tribes of Israel.
