1 Timothy 2:1-4 NIV - I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

Romans 13:1-7

Scripture commands us to pray for all people, especially those in authority, kings, presidents, governors, and leaders.

This isn't optional, regardless of whether we agree with their politics.

Prayer for leaders is praying within God's will. When you pray for those in authority, you're asking God to surround them with wise counsel and to work His purposes through them.

Before complaining about leadership decisions, pray for them by name. Ask God to give them wisdom, to convict them of truth, and to use them for His glory.

Remember, God is sovereign over every appointment and election. Your prayers matter more than your political posts. Intercession opens doors for peaceful living and creates space for the gospel to advance.

Make a list of specific leaders (local, state, national) and commit to praying for them daily this month.
