Surrendered and Unintimidated
Bunkhouse Beacon - Surrendered and Unintimidated
Mark 8:35 NKJV - For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.
Philippians 1:6 NKJV — being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ
Jesus teaches that whoever surrenders their life for his sake and the gospel will truly find it, and Paul assures believers that God will faithfully complete the work he has begun in them.
The enemy cannot intimidate a person who has already surrendered everything to Jesus Christ. When your plans, your comfort, your reputation, and your future are held loosely before God, there is nothing left for the accuser to threaten you with.
This is not a call to recklessness; it is a call to a settled, confident surrender that says: my life belongs to God, and he is faithful to complete what he has started.
You are not a finished product! God is still at work.
The storms you face, the wilderness seasons you endure, the battles in your mind — none of them have the final word. He who began a good work in you will see it through to completion.
Standing firm for Him, with you
