The Unbearable weight of life without God
Job 3:1-11; Psalm 32:1-7; 1 Kings 17-19
Even godly people experience deep despair. Job, David, Elijah, and Jonah all cried out in anguish, sometimes wishing for death.
Yet their stories reveal a crucial truth: life without God's presence becomes unbearable, but life WITH God provides hope even in darkness.
Elijah, fresh from witnessing God's miraculous fire and rain, still fled in fear and asked God to take his life.
This totally reminds us that spiritual victories don't immunize us from human struggles.
The answer isn't escape through death but hope in Jesus.
If you're struggling today, know that God meets you in the desert places.
He doesn't condemn your honest emotions but invites you to bring them to Him.
Turn toward Him, not away. Your feelings are real, but His promises are more real.
Grace and Peace
