Psalm 103:6-10 NKJV - The Lord executes righteousness And justice for all who are oppressed. 7 He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel. 8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. 9 He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever. 10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities.
1 John 4:7-16
Our God is holy, loving, just, merciful, gracious, patient, faithful, sovereign, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, eternal, unchanging, true, wise, and good.
Do you actually believe this? Not just intellectually, but in the depths of your soul?
If we truly grasped who God is, His absolute power, perfect love, and complete authority, how would it change our worship? Our prayers? Our fears?
The God who knows everything about you still loves you perfectly.
The God who is all-powerful cares about your smallest concern.
He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Meditate on one attribute of God. Let it sink deep into your heart until worship becomes your natural response.
