October 12, 2025 - Revelation 7:3-17
Welcome to Grace Baptist Church in Iron River, WI. Today is Sunday, October 12, 2025
We are so very grateful for your interest in our Church. We are friendly people who focus on practically applying God’s truth; we are not perfect. We could talk about who we are and how grateful we are; however, to experience God working in Grace Baptist Church, we would love it if you visited us at 10:00 am on Sunday to enjoy our worship service. We hope to see you soon!
Revelation 7:13-17 captures one of the most breathtaking moments in John’s vision: a heavenly scene of victory, comfort, and eternal rest. After witnessing the great multitude before the throne, John’s attention is drawn to a question from one of the elders: “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?” The answer reveals their identity—believers who came out of the great tribulation, purified through the blood of the Lamb.
Here, the focus shifts from suffering to glory. The scene paints a vivid picture of God’s ultimate faithfulness: those who endured earthly trials now stand secure in His presence, no longer hungry, thirsty, or weary.
The Lamb who once was slain is now their Shepherd, guiding them to living fountains of waters. And in one of the most tender promises of all Scripture, God Himself wipes away every tear from their eyes.
This passage reminds us that faithfulness, even in the face of suffering, is never wasted. Every tear shed on earth finds its answer in the hand of God in heaven.
