Happy Mother's Day! We are so very grateful for your interest in our Church. We are friendly people who focus on applying God’s truth in practical ways; we are not perfect. We could talk about who we are and how grateful we are; however, to experience God working in Grace Baptist Church, we would love it if you visited us at 10:00 am on Sunday to enjoy our worship service. Today is a special Sunday. We want to pause and honor the women God has placed in our lives, mothers, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, mentors, wives, daughters, and women of faith who have shaped us in ways we may never fully measure.

Mother’s Day can bring a lot of joy. For many, it brings sweet memories, gratitude, laughter, and celebration. But we also recognize that for some, this day carries grief, longing, disappointment, or pain. Some miss their mothers. Some have complicated relationships. Some have prayed prayers that have not yet been answered. Some carry wounds no one else sees.

So today, we do not come to worship motherhood as though every story is simple. We come to worship the God who meets every woman, every mother, every family, and every heart right where they are.

The Bible does not present women as background characters in the story of redemption. From Eve, to Sarah, to Hannah, to Ruth, to Mary, to the women at the tomb, Scripture shows us that God sees, values, strengthens, and uses women for His glory.

And that is the heart of our study today: God sees the faithful, strengthens the weary, restores the broken, and uses ordinary women in extraordinary ways.

So whether today finds you encouraged or exhausted, celebrating or grieving, confident or barely holding on, hear this clearly: the Lord sees you, the Lord knows you, and the Lord is near.

As we open God’s Word together, may we see not only the beauty of a mother’s love, but even more, the greater love of Christ, the Savior who restores dignity, carries burdens, and gives grace for every season.
