Joy that leaves the building – Be the light
Matthew 5:14-16 NKJV “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Joy was never meant to stay inside the church walls.
We are the light of the world, and a joyful, thankful believer is a lighthouse in a dark community.
People don't need to see perfect Christians; they need to see authentic ones who love deeply and live joyfully despite life's hardships.
When you walk through life, you carry the presence of Christ into the harvest field. Your joy is evangelistic. Your love is apologetic.
Don't wait for the perfect mood or moment. Let the world see believers who genuinely love God and one another, who say "I love you" unashamedly, who choose thanksgiving over complaining.
This week, be filled with love and joy because of a thankful heart. Let it overflow everywhere you go.
Who in our community needs to see the joy of Christ lived out through you this week?
Happy Thanksgiving
Lars
