Bunkhouse Beacon – The God Who Hears

Daniel 10:12-14 NKJV Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia. 14 Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision refers to many days yet to come.”

Daniel fasted and prayed for three weeks before receiving his answer.

The angel's words are profound: "From the first day that you set your heart to understand and humble yourself before your God, your words were heard." Your prayers don't bounce off the ceiling; they reach the throne room of God immediately.

The delay in Daniel's answer wasn't divine silence but spiritual warfare.

When you pray and feel unheard, remember that God heard you from the very first word.

He is working behind the scenes in ways you cannot see. Your faithfulness in prayer matters.

God created you for intimate communion with Him, and He treasures every word you speak to Him.

What prayer have you been waiting for God to answer? How does knowing He heard you from day one change your perspective?

Grace and Peace
