Bunkhouse Beacon – Sent with Purpose and Power

John 20:19-22 NKJV - Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 20 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. 21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

"As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." With these words, Jesus commissioned frightened disciples hiding behind locked doors. Then He breathed on them: "Receive the Holy Spirit."

If you say with your mouth that you are a Christian, you have a task!

Jesus doesn't want to erase your personality; He wants to use it for kingdom glory.

Whether you're in Iron River or anywhere else, you're sent with the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead.

This means our week ahead matters as much as your Sunday worship.

Your workplace, your neighborhood, your family, these are your mission fields.

Don't just be religious; be relational. Draw near to Jesus daily, stay connected in community, and keep practicing obedience. Faith grows when it's lived.

Grace and Peace
