Philippians 2:8-11 NIV – And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! 9 Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Hebrews 12:1-3 NIV - Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Between miles 15 and 20 of a marathon, runners don't just want to slow down; they want to stop.

Many of you are spiritually in that place right now.

The battle feels unbearable, and you're tempted to quit.

But obedience under pressure is still obedience, often the most powerful kind.

Jesus demonstrated this ultimate obedience, faithful even to death on a cross.

Don't wait for the battle to feel easier before staying faithful; it won't.

Finish the race set before you by doing the next faithful thing. Just the next one. Then the next.

Obedience isn't feeling motivated; it's taking the next step when everything in you screams to stop.

Your faithfulness in this pressure-filled moment is shaping eternal realities you cannot yet see.
