Bunkhouse Beacon – The King in Our Midst

Revelation 1:11-14 NKJV 11 saying, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.” 12 Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. 14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire…

Jesus isn't just a memory of Bethlehem or a martyr on a cross.

He is the risen, reigning, revealed King, and He is with you right now.

In Revelation, John sees Jesus standing in the midst of the seven churches, eyes like flames of fire, holding the keys of death and Hades.

This same Jesus promised, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age." He doesn't just show up on Sundays; His presence surrounds you in Monday's challenges, Wednesday's disappointments, and Friday's fears.

The eternal One who was and is and is to come walks beside you today.

When you feel alone in your struggle, remember: the One who conquered death has not left you.

His presence isn't dependent on your awareness of it. Open your eyes to see Him in your midst.

Grace and Peace
