The Lamb Who is Worthy
Bunkhouse Beacon – The Lamb Who Is Worthy
Revelation 5:4-7 NKJV So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it. 5 But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.” 6 And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. 7 Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
John wept because no one was worthy to open the scroll, until the Lion of Judah appeared as a Lamb who had been slain.
This paradox reveals everything about our Savior: strength in sacrifice, victory through surrender, majesty cloaked in humility.
The Lamb is worthy not despite the slaughter but because of it. Jesus didn't earn worthiness at the cross; He demonstrated it there.
Every creature in heaven, on earth, and under the earth will worship Him.
The question isn't whether He deserves our praise, but whether we'll offer it now or later.
Don't wait for heaven to worship wholeheartedly. Today, in your circumstances, whether joyful or painful, choose to declare His worthiness.
Worship isn't about your feelings; it's about His identity as King of kings.
Grace and Peace
