Worship in Spirit and Truth
Romans 12:1-2 NKJV I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Paul calls us to present our bodies as living sacrifices, our "spiritual worship."
This isn't about singing songs on Sunday; it's about a lifestyle of surrender.
The crowd on Palm Sunday worshiped Jesus publicly, waving palm branches and shouting "Hosanna!" But five days later, many of those same voices cried "Crucify Him!"
Public worship without private devotion is empty religion. Again, public worship without private devotion is empty religion.
The question that should haunt us is: What do we do when we're alone? Do we worship Him in the hidden places of our lives, or do we only perform when others are watching?
Your body doesn't belong to you; you were bought at a price.
True worship means stewarding every moment, every choice,
every thought for His glory. Worship isn't an event; it's a life.
What does your private life reveal about the authenticity of your public worship?
Grace and Peace
