Whatever You Do
Bunkhouse Beacon – Whatever you do
And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men Colossians 3:23 NKJV.
That little phrase, “whatever you do,” leaves no loopholes. Whether you’re preaching, raking pine needles in Iron River, or fixing the boat engine for the fifth time this season, it all becomes sacred work when done for the Lord.
Here’s the beauty of it:
Motivation literally changes everything. Why do you do what you do? Serving for human approval wears you out. Serving for Christ fills you up.
Ordinary becomes holy. The mundane transforms into ministry when your motive is worship.
Joy replaces drudgery. When you remember who you’re really working for, even hard work carries a quiet gladness.
It’s like repainting the chapel under heaven’s watch; suddenly, the task feels weighty and worthy all at once.
Have a blessed Tuesday
