Revelation 4:9-11 NKJV Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: 11 “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.”

Throughout Revelation, the pattern is unmistakable: the twenty-four elders repeatedly fall down and worship.

They don't worship once and move on; they worship consistently, repeatedly, passionately.

These heavenly beings have their own thrones, yet they leave them to prostrate themselves before the One on the throne.

Their response to God's majesty isn't casual acknowledgment but complete surrender.

Our worship can mirror this heavenly reality. Is Jesus part of your life like lunch, something you think about occasionally? Or is He your life itself?

The elders teach us that knowing God demands a response.

Worship isn't what we do when we feel like it; it's the appropriate response to who He is.

Today, practice falling before Him, not physically necessarily, but in heart posture. Make worship your consistent response.
