Bunkhouse Beacon – Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

Genesis 1:26-27 NKJV Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Psalm 139:13-16 NKJV For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.

Before the foundations of the world, God knew you.

He didn't create you as an accident of biology or a random occurrence.

When God breathed life into humanity, He gave you three precious gifts: a body formed by His hands, a soul that defines who you are, and a spirit that connects you to Him.

You are an image-bearer of the Almighty God. This isn't about your appearance, height, or color; it's about reflecting His glory where you're planted.

Today, look in the mirror and declare: "I am created in God's image." Let this truth reshape how you see yourself and others.

You carry divine purpose in your very existence.

Grace and Peace
