Your Peace becomes someone else's Shelter

Dec 10, 2025    Lars Dahl

Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name Jesus. Matthew 1:24-25 NKJV

Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God. Matthew 5:9 NKJV

Joseph's obedience in Matthew 1:24 reveals something powerful: "Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him."

When you experience God's peace, it changes you; however, it doesn't stop there. Your peace becomes someone else's shelter.

In your workplace, school, home, and community, people are watching. They're hurting, afraid, and searching for something real. So, be real with them.

When you walk in God's peace despite difficult circumstances, you become a living testimony to Emmanuel.

This Christmas season, many around you are suffering deep pain, lost loved ones, broken relationships, and shattered dreams.

Your choice to let God's peace rule your heart permits others to hope.

Like Joseph, choose obedience. Choose to trust God with what you don't understand.

Your peace-filled response to life's battles may be precisely what someone else needs to encounter Emmanuel for themselves.

Merry Christmas in this season of Peace
