Bless the one who owns Everything
Bunkhouse Beacon – Bless the one who owns Everything
How do you bless someone who owns everything? Not with gifts, but with surrender.
Psalm 34:1-3 I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. 3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together.
Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
To bless God means to acknowledge His character, speak well of Him, and offer yourself back to Him. Your obedience doesn't make God better, but it honors Him.
It declares, "You are worthy of my life, my choices, my future." Present your body as a living sacrifice, not dead on an altar, but alive and actively surrendered.
Your time, finances, relationships, and gifts are not truly yours; they're on loan. When you place them back in His hands with a thankful heart, you bless Him.
This isn't duty; it's devotion. It's saying, "Everything I have comes from You, and I trust You with it all."
Question: Do you have anything in your life that you have been withholding from God's control? It's all His….
Grace and peace to you
