Freedom from Condemnation

Reading: Romans 8:1-4 NKJV There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Let this truth penetrate the deepest parts of your soul.

You don't need to walk through life like Eeyore, weighed down by guilt and shame.

Christ isn't arguing your case; He has already won it.

His blood didn't temporarily silence your accuser; it permanently disqualified him.

The cross was a decisive legal turning point. Satan no longer has access to God's throne to bring charges against you.

Yes, he still whispers accusations on a personal level, reminding you of what you've done, said, or thought.

But these are empty threats from a defeated foe. Stand firm in your identity as one justified by God.

Grace and Peace
