Jesus saves souls, not skin color
Bunkhouse Beacon
After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands. Revelation 7:9 NKJV
Heaven isn’t divided by color lines, flags, or politics; it’s united under one banner: the blood of Jesus Christ.
John’s vision shows a crowd too big to count, every skin tone and accent gathered before one throne, worshiping one Savior. The dividing walls that sin built on earth are gone. The only thing that matters in that moment is that every soul has been washed clean in the blood of the Lamb.
Jesus didn’t come to redeem a race, but to rescue the lost, all the lost. The gospel isn’t about pigment; it’s about pardon. Not melanin, but mercy. When Christ saves, He doesn’t whiten, darken, or blend; He makes new.
In a world obsessed with labels and tribes,
Revelation 7:9 reminds us what eternity really looks like: a family gathered by grace, not genetics.
Reflection question and prayer
Do I see others through the lens of Christ’s redemption, or through the world’s categories and divisions?
Prayer: Jesus, please help me to see people the way you see them, their souls, not their skin color.
