Faithful not Perfect
Bunkhouse Beacon – Faithful not Perfect
Hebrews 11:8 NKJV By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.
1 John 1:9 NKJV If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Abraham didn't know where he was going, but he knew who was leading him.
God doesn't require perfection from us in 2026; however, He does require faithfulness.
When we stumble and sin, He provides a way back through confession, making us righteous before the Father.
Our Advocate (Jesus) presents us clean, not because of our performance, but because of His sacrifice.
Let me be perfectly clear and straightforward with you: God isn't waiting for us to get our lives together before He can use us.
He's looking for willing hearts, not perfect résumés. Moses stuttered. David was a shepherd boy. Mary was a teenager. All ordinary people who said "yes" to an extraordinary God.
Our obedience matters more than your eloquence or ability.
Is there an area of your life where God is asking for obedience rather than understanding?
Grace and Peace
