The Battle in not against Flesh and Blood
The Battle is not against Flesh and Blood
Ephesians 6:12 NKJV – For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
In Ephesians 6:10-19, Paul describes the full armor of God and reminds believers that their true struggle is not against people but against spiritual forces of darkness operating in heavenly places.
It is easy to look at the people and circumstances around you and conclude that they are your greatest enemies.
A difficult coworker, a broken relationship, a failing situation- these feel overwhelmingly real.
But Scripture is unmistakably clear: our deepest battles are fought in the spiritual realm before they ever appear in the physical one.
This changes everything about how we respond to conflict, hardship, and opposition.
When you recognize the true nature of the fight, you stop reacting out of frustration and start responding with prayer, the Word of God, and faith.
This week, before you react to any challenge, pause and ask: what is really happening here spiritually? That single habit can transform your entire life.
Standing firm for Him, with you
