Bunkhouse Beacon - Made For More

Bunkhouse Beacon - Made for More

Revelation 13:8 NKJV - All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Matthew 24:24 NKJV - For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

Philippians 4:8 NKJV - Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

The book of Revelation depicts a world that marvels at power, follows the spectacular, and exchanges the worship of the Creator for that of the counterfeit.

God is not keeping secrets to frustrate you. He is revealing the future so you will not be deceived by it.

The church is called to something far greater than mere survival or spectacle. You were made to know God, to glorify God, and to carry the gospel of Jesus Christ into every corner of your life.

Please do not let your imagination be captured by things that cannot save. Fix your mind on what is true and go tell a world that desperately needs hope revealed.

Reflection Question: Are you living as someone who has been made for more, or are you settling for a version of faith that asks little and risks nothing?

Practical Application: Write down the name of one person in your life who does not know Jesus. Commit to praying for them every day this week and ask God for one natural opportunity to share the hope you carry.

In His Grace,

Lars
