Bunkhouse Beacon - The Certainty of Christ's Reign

Revelation 11:15-16 NKJV Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” 16 And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God

Philippians 2:9-11 NKJV Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Loud voices in Heaven declare with absolute certainty: "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever."

This isn't wishful thinking; it's future history already proclaimed in heaven's throne room.

Every competing kingdom will bow. Every rebellious power will be overthrown.

The question isn't whether Christ will reign, but whether we acknowledge His reign now by grace or later in judgment.

Every knee will bow; every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

This is a present-tense future reality. Where in your life are you resisting His lordship?

What kingdoms compete for your allegiance, career, comfort, control?

Today, surrender those competing authorities. bow now in worship rather than later in judgment.

It's pretty straightforward; we can bow down now in worship, or we will bow down in judgment. Just thinking out loud.

Grace and Peace
