Bunkhouse Beacon – The Battleground of the Soul

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, Romans 12:2 NKJV

2 Corinthians 10:5 NKJV …bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ

Philippians 4:8 NKJV Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Your soul is the battleground where fear, anxiety, anger, and worry wage war against peace, hope, and joy.

This Soul is where you make choices, what you think about, what you allow into your mind, and what you dwell upon.

The soul needs leadership, not indulgence.

It must be shaped, not left to spiral out of control.

Paul commands us to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Practice P48—Philippians 4:8—and meditate on what is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and praiseworthy.

Stop blaming circumstances for your spiritual exhaustion.

Your soul can choose differently.

Today, take one anxious thought and replace it with Scripture. Lead your soul toward Christ.

Grace and Peace
