Bunkhouse Beacon - Family, Fellowship, and Forever

Hebrews 10:24-25 NKJV - Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Revelation 21:3-4 NKJV - And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Baptism does not just connect a believer to Christ; it connects that believer to a family.

The local church is not a building or a program.

It is a community of people who have been united by the same blood, the same faith, and the same future.

Hebrews 10:24-25 calls us to remain connected to one another for encouragement and accountability. And the story does not end here.

Revelation 21:3-4 gives us a breathtaking glimpse of eternity: God dwelling with His people, every tear wiped away, all things made new. The family you belong to now is the family you will celebrate with forever.

Reflection Question: Are you genuinely investing in your local church community, or are you keeping the family of God at a comfortable distance?

Practical Application: Reach out to one person in your church this week with intentional encouragement -- a phone call, a meal, a handwritten note, or simply showing up for someone who needs it.

Waiting for Him with you,

Lars
