Bunkhouse Beacon - The Breath of Life
Bunkhouse Beacon - The Breath of Life
Ezekiel 37:4-6 NKJV Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”
Ezekiel 37:9-10 NKJV Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.
In the valley of dry bones, God asked Ezekiel a profound question: "Can these bones live?"
What seemed impossible became reality when God breathed life into death.
Perhaps you're experiencing a spiritually dry season, your faith feels lifeless, your prayers seem empty, or your joy has vanished.
Like those dry bones and the two witnesses lying dead in Jerusalem's streets, you may feel defeated. But God specializes in breathing life where others only see death.
Today, pray specifically: "Lord, breathe life into my faith, my prayer life, my obedience." He who raised the dead witnesses and scattered dry bones can revive your weary soul.
The same Spirit that hovered over creation hovers over you now, ready to restore what feels lost.
Grace and Peace
